Qatar's cultural programme is unique, and hugely ambitious. It includes several new, world-class museums, hundreds of public art projects, and exhibitions for both local and international artists. At Qatar Museums we are responsible for turning the region into a creative powerhouse. Our website tells the story of how we’ve done that so far, and how users can engage with art, creativity and heritage.Creating the website over the last year has been challenging. Our team has learnt lessons that we think would benefit other museums, and we would like to take this opportunity to share them: the importance of a strong strategy, evidence-based process, and brave designs.
